Our Mission is to continually inspire our students with hands on training, guidance and support, teaching real and practical skills and experience, of salon life through their educational journey with us. Helen Dunne is a leader in her field who is deeply passionate about hairdressing and sharing highly developed skills and knowledge with her students. This is an asset to anyone who chooses to train with us as we understand that learning hairdressing is more than paperwork and computerscreens and its not just sweeping floors and cleaning. Studying hairdressing and performing practically, to the required salon standards, is a deeply interpersonal journey between 2 or more people in a learning evironment and salon business setting. The attributes we look for in our students are empathy. kindness and a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and keep learning and to listen to their teachers and a willingness to create and manifest their dreams. I, Helen, am all about leaning, creating and manifesting dreams, so if you ask me what my values are these are some of my most important ones. Training with my school is more than studying and passing assessments, it is a journey of self discovery and learning how to love yourself and respect the people around you. Style Academy’s vision is to provide the hairdressing student with a commercially realistic course that equips graduates with adequate hands on skills and salon experience that fully prepares them for employment in the industry and in turn providing the hairdressing industry with a new breed of well-trained hairstylists. Style Academy will provide high end and specialised Hairdressing training in every aspect of Hairdressing to fully equip students with the skills they need to take their hairdressing career wherever they desire. Style Academy has a strong focus on skill development backed up by real salon placement immersing the participant in a true salon culture, enabling them to easily transition successfully to employment after 9 months.

Style Academy operates a training salon that is open to the public, offering fantastic hairdressing services at heavilly reduced prices. All servcies are fully supervised and performed to the standards that you would expect to receive in a high end hairdressing salon. We use amazing quality products such as Matrix, De Lorenzo, O&M, K18, Kerastase and Kevin Murphy so your hair will feel silky, shiny and nourished. We welcome you to come in and experience the care that our hairstylists in training will give you. The only thing we ask is that you allow a little more time for your service so it can be performed to perfection. We look forward to being of service to you and providing you with great hair.
